Today in human geo we started class by turning in our world leaders project and going over the correct answers. Today's class was only 40 minutes because we had a two hour delay due to the snow. I thought and hoped we were going to be off but that wasn't the case. The world leaders project was fairly easy for the most part. The only part that was hard was finding the leader because there were a few options to choose from. I hope I get a good grade so that I can end this quarter with an A because currently I have a high B. Also we have a test about the different States coming up that I will need to make sure I study for.

A Message to Garcia and my five point action plan

A Message to Garcia is a wonderful story of hard work and excellence. It is written by Elbert Hubbard about two men with completely different life styles. While one is a hard worker and wonderful man, the other is simply a slacker. He is incompetent and never seems to get his work done, no matter how big or important the task. After reading this, at first is was hard to understand, but after re-reading you finally get to see how much a persons will to work really effects them and other people. In this case doing your work quickly and efficiently could mean life or death for others. So, when you don't do your work the way it is intended to be done, there are going to serious consequences that follow. Another consequence could be getting a bad reputation just like one of the characters Elbert Hubbard is ranting about. Today in Human Geo we took a test. I studied last night and felt pretty prepared, so when I did take it I was pretty confident and knew most the answers. Also we had a few minutes in the beginning of class to review notes quickly. The test did take up the whole class so when I finished I wrote this blog. I think I did pretty good on the test overall…maybe not a 100% but I think I got an A or B. We had 25 multiple choice questions and one essay. The essay was a choice between two questions; Why does America make products overseas, and what does “think global, act local” mean and give an example. I chose the second question because I wasn’t in class when we talked about making products overseas and I felt as though I could explain the question better. I feel like I did a pretty good job on explaining it and most likely got a good grade. Overall, I hope that I got an A on this test because my grade is a 91% right now and I don’t want it to be brought down to a B the d...
